How to password protect apps with Touch ID

AsphaleiaThere are several jailbreak tweaks available for password protecting individual apps and other areas of an iOS device, but Asphaleia takes security one step further with Touch ID. The tweak can be used to secure apps on a one-by-one basis, with a number of options to configure through the Settings app…

When an app is secured, it appears blurred out with a crossed out eye symbol in the multitasking app switcher. Asphaleia is developed by A³Tweaks, the makers of the popular Auxo tweak for iOS 6. It is available now on Cydia for $1.99 in the default BigBoss repository. Of course, you will need an iPhone 5s.

If you are looking for a similar Touch ID tweak, I suggest looking into BioProtect. If you do not have Touch ID on your device, then I recommend searching for iAppLock. This jailbreak tweak has similar functionality to that of Asphaleia, but works with a traditional four-digit passcode. iAppLock is one dollar on the Cydia Store.
