Apple this morning added the 8 GB iPhone 5c to its lineup. In what is breaking records in the ”worst deal on an iPhone ever” category, the new iPhone –priced at £429–is a measly £40 ($66 including sales tax) less than the 16GB model. So far, the phone has appeared on O2′s website as well as many international Apple Stores including those in the UK, Australia, and China.
This is a straight-up bad deal — especially living in a world where software updates are 1.2 GB in size. Trying to manage your iPhone’s 8 GB of storage would be nothing but a pain after installing about 10 apps, and you’re most definitely not going to have any room for music or video. And, to top it off, the phone has yet to appear in America. Or maybe that’s not a problem at all.
How do you feel about the new iPhone 5c?
