It’s just too late: Microsoft reveals Office for iPad

Does anyone else think that this simply took way too long?  The iPhone version of Microsoft’s Office suite launched last June, and many hoped that the company was working on an iPad version. Well, they were, and it’s finally here. (more…)

New image shows upcoming Auxo 2 tweak

Frey's favorite tweak is the beautiful Auxo by Jack Willis

Auxo, of the best tweaks from the A3Tweaks development team, took the jailbreak scene by storm last year when it became a common replacement for the built-in task manager. Home screen icon animation tweak Cylinder now available

If you’re not aware, tweaks such as these change the ways the icons animate when swiping between the pages on your home screen. This Cover app for Android needs to be an iOS 7 jailbreak tweak

Since jailbreak tweaks first started being released, many of them have been features that have long been available to users of Android phones. Well, here’s a feature that’s currently available for Android phones that most definitely needs to become a jailbreak tweak. iOS 7.1 significantly more stable than 7.0


The stability enhancements in iOS 7.1 are having a major effect on the number of crashes taking place on Apple’s mobile platform, according to a firm that provides analytics to developers. The firm states that the crash rate for iOS 7.1 is 1.6%, compared with roughly 2% for iOS 7, 6.1, and 6.

So perhaps iOS 7.1 took so long for a reason. Regardless, it’s good to see that Apple is making improvements in its overall platform stability.

Exciting new ProWidgets tweak coming soon to iPhone and iPad
