Okay I don't think anyone made a similar thread to this so here I go. I first encountered this problem after installing Caterpillar 1.1. I didn't know what to do so, as any normal person would do, restored. But there is a simpler way to counter to problem (simpler than hard reboot) Whenever your Touchscreen is working: 1 Open installer (while connected to Wi-Fi) 2 Tap install and scroll down 3 Tap utilities and scroll down 4 Install either killBoard (made by Skylar i believe) or Respring, no need to install both 5 Hit home and your iPod will respring Now you will see killBoard/Respring on your home screen. Whenever your iPod's Touchscreen is "disabled", simply tap the app (killBoard/Respring) Your iPod will respring, thus fixes the problem. *** IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU KEEP KILLBOARD/RESPRING ON HOME SCREEN Why? Because if your touchscreen is disabled and you put killboard/respring in a category fold, you will not be able to use killboard/respring Also do not hide the app. I do not know if you can use Dock.app while the touchscreen is disabled. If you CAN use it, then hide killboard/respring and use dock to open it. Btw, i figured out this process by myself. Did NOT copy someone else.
