Apple new releases are a good time to look at the Apple Store refurbished offers.

My iPad Mini 2 WiFi Cellular Verizon refurbished looks brand new, packaging and all.

Is this your experience with Apple refurbished products?

Apple's refurbished products are always good as new, plus they carry full warranty too. Never had a problem, never expect to knowing that they'll replace any body blemishes, batteries, and other broken internals and make sure they are up to spec in contrast to a new product.

I've always bought a refurbished Apple product. That is, all except my current iPhone, because they don't sell iPhones refurbished.

I think manufactured refurbished items are completely fine. Heck, they might even be tested more than a new device.

Seller refurbished items are a different story, however. The quality may vary wildly.
